The European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators (DigCompEdu) is a scientifically sound framework that describes what it means for educators to be digitally competent. DigCompEdu considers digital competences from three standpoints:
Educators' professional competences
Educators' pedagogic competences
Learners' competences.
DigCompEdu constitutes of 22 competences that are organised in six areas. The focus of this framework is to detail how digital technologies can be used to enhance and innovate education and training.
