Moodle Qualifications: Global Reach and First Graduate Voices

Following last month's celebration of our first Moodle Administrator Qualification (MAQ) graduates, we are now excited to share a direct testimonial that highlights the programme's real-world impact. This, combined with significant progress in making the MAQ more globally accessible, marks another major milestone for Moodle Qualifications.

A word from our first MAQ graduate

We are proud to feature the experience of Lucie Grenouilleau, a Learning Designer at EHL Hospitality Business School and one of the very first professionals to complete the MAQ.

“As someone deeply passionate about Moodle, and being a Moodle admin in my institution for 2 years now, it felt only natural to me to try and obtain the MAQ qualification and deepen my Moodle skills!

The MAQ is a well-structured program, and, as a Learning Designer, I could appreciate the thoughtful instructional design behind it. The program offers both theoretical knowledge and practical, hands-on opportunities, which were really helpful. I particularly enjoyed discovering new aspects of Moodle I hadn't explored before, such as the privacy officer and mentor roles, or some specific reports that I now use regularly.”

MAQ Catalan and Spanish translations now available

To support our growing international community, we are thrilled to announce significant progress in our translation efforts:

  • Catalan MAQ translations are now 100% complete, thanks to the fantastic work of our Premium Moodle Certified Partner 3ipunt. Special thanks to the dedicated translation team of Laura Jiménez, Meritxell Revés, and Alba Illan.

  • Spanish MAQ translations are nearly complete, thanks to a collaborative effort between two Premium Moodle Certified Partners: Inserver and 3ipunt. Lorena Garcia led the translation work on behalf of Inserver, whilst Laura Jiménez, Meritxell Revés, and Alba Illan contributed once again from 3ipunt.

These new language versions make the MAQ more accessible, empowering more Moodle administrators around the world to validate their skills in their native language.

Lucie’s experience, combined with our expanding language options, paints a clear picture: the MAQ offers validated value and growing accessibility. If you are ready to structure your expertise, discover new aspects of Moodle, and gain a globally recognised credential, your journey starts at Moodle Academy.
