Moodle Administrator Qualification (MAQ): Available now!
From 3rd February 2025, the Moodle Administrator Qualification (MAQ) is officially available through authorised Moodle Certified Partners and Service Providers. This advanced Qualification is designed to validate the expertise of Moodle LMS administrators, focusing on key skills such as site management, infrastructure, integration, and professional development.
The MAQ joins the Moodle Educator Qualification (MEQ) in offering a comprehensive suite of Moodle Qualifications to support the professional growth of educators and administrators worldwide who use Moodle. To learn more about these Qualifications, including their structure and benefits, we invite you to watch the recording of our recent webinar, hosted by Anna Krassa and Mary Cooch, now available on YouTube and Moodle Academy. In this intermediate level course for developers participants will learn about peer reviewing Moodle plugins. Learners will gain an understanding of the Moodle plugins peer review process, including best practices and key considerations. ATLAS, the IT unit for the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign has spent the last couple years configuring a Moodle environment to work as an LTI tool integrated into the vendor-provided LMS platform adopted by the University’s central IT unit. This initiative has allowed faculty to continue providing high-quality educational materials designed in Moodle, while satisfying students’ and administration’s desire for the campus to use one central LMS.
